Huaraz is the center for high-altitude sports and outdoor activities
in Peru. Mostly expanded in the "Cordillera Blanca" (white mountain
range) and "Cordillera Huayhuash" (The white Andes Cordillera is so
called)
because it is a chain of mountains covered with snow all year
long. These cordilleras are the highest tropical mountain ranges in
